The ReSelfing™ App

The ReSelfing app brings Adult-Self Attachment into everyday life.
It helps you recognise what is happening in the moment, understand the pattern behind your response and create enough space to choose what happens next.
Powered by Affecteon™, an emotional-intelligence AI middleware, the app responds not only to what you say, but to the emotional state beneath it. Built around the ABCs of ReSelfing™, Awareness, Behaviours and Choice, drawn from the book and method co-authored with Dr Louise Goddard-Crawley, it turns insight into practice, helping you build a stronger relationship with yourself, one conscious choice at a time.
Affecteon™

Affecteon™ is building an emotional cognition layer for AI, designed to move artificial intelligence from responding to human input to understanding and influencing the patterns behind it.
Most conversational AI responds to what a user says. Affecteon™ is designed to recognise patterns across emotional state, behaviour and choice, then use the ABCs of Adult-Self Attachment, Awareness, Behaviours and Choice, to guide the user through structured self-reflection.
The distinction is important. A cognitive mirror can show someone their patterns. Affecteon™ is being built to help them do something with what they see.
Rather than simply generating an answer, offering reassurance or directing a user elsewhere, Affecteon™ asks questions intended to increase awareness, surface the behaviour that follows and create an opportunity for a different choice.
This creates a potentially different category of human-AI interaction: AI that does not seek to become the authority in the relationship, but helps the human develop greater authority over themselves.
Most AI is designed to give better answers. Affecteon™ is designed to help humans make better choices.
